Kronwall leads NHL Stars

Red Wings defenseman Niklas Kronwall along with his younger brother Staffan Kronwall and a several NHL stars will play an exhibition non contact game against Jarfalla HC on Friday, August 13 at the Jarfalla ice rink in Stockholm.

Starting Lineup

Joining the Kronwalls will be NHL notables like Red Wings defenseman Jonathan Ericsson, Atlanta defenseman Johnny Oduya, San Jose defenseman Douglas Murray, Atlanta forward Niklas Bergfors, Los Angeles center Oscar Moller, Nashville forward Patric Hornqvist, retired Dallas defenseman Mattias Norstrom, and others.

The game will be played in two periods, the admission is 100$ for adults and 30$ for kids, 8 to 17-years-old.

Niklas Kronwall Scholarship

An alumnus of Jarfalla Hockey, Kronwall will also award a scholarship in his name to one U16 player in the Jarfalla organization during the celebrity game on Aug. 13.

Kronwall honed his hockey skills while playing for Jarfalla HC, and feels committed to giving back in the way of the Niklas Kronwall Scholarship, which recognizes a young player who possesses talent, work ethic and humility – the same qualities that have shadowed Kronwall’s fine career.

  3. KRONWALLED! NICE SITE BIG MAN! HAHA! And hey that one hit I think on Marian Gaborik, or I forgot who but when you got the nickname Kronwalled, that wasn’t a penelty, I hope to be in the NHL one day.. I can’t afford playing for anyone right now, I go to practice my skating though, and I praactice my stick handeling and stuff like that. I’m a huge fan, and a hug overall Hockey fan. :) Nice job Nik, keep it up tell Johan Franzen I said hey. :)
